Great news: the scheme to provide free bus passes to injured servicemen is to be extended to Wales. As a result of a Command Paper issued in July 2008, the Welsh Assembly Government has 1. announced that it 2, plans to start talks to 3. hopefully introduce free bus passes to 4. an unknown number of injured servicemen by 5. April 2011.
I can’t help but feel that it should take a lot less time to produce such a acheme when there are, for example, schemes in place for free travel in Wales for the over 60′s.
